Community resonates for most of us, and as we considered how best to utilize Alabaster beyond venue purposes, this word and its meaning weighed - in the best of ways - on our hearts. How can we really share such a special space and experience connectivity in a powerful meaningful way. We were on the front porch discussing this and the word COMMUNION surfaced.

This tradition reflects one of the most significant personal AND communal acts of worship Christians throughout the world and over many centuries practice.  However - most often - it happens at church.  Which is great!

It is PEOPLE that make up the church, so why not offer an opportunity to come together -a bit unconventionally, no doubt - break bread and sip wine as we prayerfully consider the work Jesus did on our behalf?

This invitation will happen, free, monthly, on the first Sunday of every month.
